Longan Jelly and Soup
Longan is warm and sweet. It is often used in Chinese Medicine as a spleen tonic, heart tonic, blood tonic and energy tonic.
Mix 500g of longans with 500g of sugar and steam them to make longan jelly. Take 1 spoonful longan jelly with warm water to relieve dizziness and edema after childbirth.
Boil 15g of longans with 5 red dates, 30g of brown sugar and 6g of fresh ginger. Drink it as soup once a day.
