Longan Jelly and Soup Longan is warm and sweet. It is often used in Chinese Medicine as a spleen tonic, heart tonic, blood tonic and energy tonic. Mix 500g of longans with 500g of sugar and steam them to make longan jelly. Take 1 spoonful longan jelly with warm water to relieve dizziness and edema after childbirth. or Boil 15g of longans with 5 red dates, 30g of brown sugar and 6g of fresh ginger. Drink it as soup once a day.

Lychee Lychee is good for hiccuping, stomach-ache, diarrhoea, asthma and hernial pain. Eat 60 to 150g fresh lychees to improve physical conditions after prolonged illness. or Boil 30 to 60g dried lychees and 5 died red dates with adequate water. Liquorice Ginger Soup Liquorice is good for abdominal pain, poor appetites, fatigue, coughs, palpitations, convulsions, sore throats, digestive ulcers, drug poisoning and food poisoning. 1. Prepare 150g of processed lioquorice and 80g of dry ginger. 2. Boil in only enough water to cover the 2 ingredients. 3. Boil until the water is reduced by half. 4. Boiled Spinach Spinach is good for nosebleeds, discharge of blood from anus, thirst in diabetes, constipation, alcoholism and haemorrhoids. Immerse spinach in boiling water for 3 minutes and eat it with a little sesame oil to treat hypertension, constipation, headache and dizziness. How easy! :)

Duck Garlic Soup Duck is good for relieving hot sensations, cough and edema. 1. Place 4 to 5 garlic cloves inside a prepared duck. 2. Simmer duck in water until very soft. 3. Eat the duck and garlic and drink the soup without salt to relieve chronic nephritis and edema. Or....you can just cook a duck with suitable quantities of ham.
